Define
Discovery / Goals / Wireframes / IA
The first phase of any project begins with a meeting with key stakeholders to understand and analyze where your site is based on best practices; current industry trends; client / customer feedback; competitors successes / failures and your direct input; and from there determine where it needs to be based on identified goals.
This phase helps to identify the target audience, what their desired action steps are, and identify any business requirements or user goals that must be met for the site to be successful.
Design
UI / Prototyping / Graphic Design
Credible design can make your business stand out from the competition. For a client evaluating two businesses, when it comes to making a choice between two relatively equal offers, the difference can be as simple as “this LOOKS like a company I can trust”. Layout, typography, imagery – even color schemes can play a major part in how your business is perceived.
Our goal for this phase is to develop a well organized design that aids users in accessing information or completing specified actions.
Build
XHTML / CSS / Javascript / CMS
By this stage content has been finalized and it’s time for the site to come to life. How it’s brought to life, i.e. how the site design is coded and built, is just as important as how it looks. To be effective, a standards based site design must be expertly coded to load fast and play nice in all of the most common browsers and platforms.
Ease of maintenance, visual consistency, better load times and better search engine results are all goals acheived in this phase.
